Halloween pics at last...

So our main Halloween festivity this year was trick-or-treating at my office the Friday before Halloween. They had an event where you could bring kids in to trick-or-treat around the floors followed by a little party with a bubble magician guy. As of the Thursday night prior, I had no costume for Gabe and his dinosaur from last year was too small, so Dan went to Target and found him a little muscle man outfit from the Incredibles movie. He tried it on and seemed OK with it, but was a little tentative, so as a backup I put him in a little soccer sweatsuit and brought along a stuffed soccer ball just in case he didn't want to wear it. Sure enough, once we got there he wouldn't put it on, so he was David Beckham instead. :-) Or some other player for England, since now he plays for L.A.

Anyway, we practiced saying "trick-or-treat" and he was pretty good at that and he definitely was excited about getting candy when we talked about it. He was still a little shy when we got there, but he had a good time. Amy brought her girls - Charlotte was an adorable Spiderman and Ellie and Caleb sported their matching Halloween sleepers. :-) I love the picture of Gabe and Charlotte post-party, both holding their balloons and suckers.

Gabe did end up wearing his costume to my family's annual Chili Shoot-Out on Saturday at my Aunt Judy's (Caleb again sported the sleeper). There's also a pics of a sleepy muscle man when he fell asleep wearing it in the van. :-) We didn't trick-or-treat on Halloween, but probably will next year. He LOVED it every time the door bell rang and wanted to be the one to put the candy in their bags, so that was cute.

Quote from Charlotte: "Whoa whoa let me see that superhero. mom! it's Gabe! Wow. So he had 2 costumes? I like that other one. He has a sucker."
