Last Sunday we decided on a little bit of a whim to go down and try to catch the tail end of the air & water show. My sister came along and we planted ourselves in Grant Park, thinking that surely we'd see something. We got there around 2:30 (the show was supposed to go until 4 p.m.) and sat for about an hour...NOTHIN'. So we packed up and started walking back toward the car and sure enough, here comes the grand finale. We still were able to see some very cool stuff, but if we would have waited it out we would have had a much better view!
We'll definitely make a point of going next year, but we still had a great time and got some cute pics, too. We have decided we need to go downtown more often and take advantage of living in the beautiful city we live in!
