As promised, here's a shot of our new kitchen workspace. Since we had the computer and a desk in the third bedroom and that will now be the baby's room, we decided to make a workspace in the kitchen in what was previously an empty, unused corner. We actually had the extra wall cabinet - we had to get a different size when we did the kitchen and we never took it back. We bought the extra drawers, countertop and chair at IKEA and Dan installed everything and did a great job. Now, we just need a keyboard tray and we'll be all set!

This turned out awesome! I'm so impressed. It's a great solution for having to turn your current office into the baby's room. It looks really good and also don't you love having your office on the main floor? I always felt so far away when we had our office upstairs at our other house. It makes it easier with a toddler, too to just sneak on for a few minutes to get things done.
