The weekend before last my mom, sister and I went to the Marriott at Oak Brook to have a little girl's weekend / early Mother's Day celebration. Since we were close to home, I took Gabe for the day while we walked around Oak Brook (he was only happy in the stroller when he was holding my mom's purse in the crook of his arm). Dan picked him up around dinner time and my mom, sister and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was nice to sleep in the next day and we had coffee service delivered to the room and then went for a late breakfast buffet downstairs. It was a nice little get away and treat!
