My sister found out this morning (she was here visiting) that a friend of hers, Jessica, was shot and killed by her ex-husband this week in front of her four kids. The ex-husband was then also fatally shot by police after a 40 mile vehicle chase (also in front of the kids).
Please pray for Jessica's family, especially her mom and brother, and also her children, oldest of which is 6 or 7. Jessica's dad also died less than a year ago of aggressive skin cancer (only two months after it was found), so her mom has been through a lot in a very short time. Beck is headed down there tomorrow to be with Jessica's mom and to attend the funeral on Monday.

Oh my goodness, how terribly tragic. I can't even imagine the devastation that her family must feel. We will definitely keep her family in our prayers, as well as Becky. love you guys.
