New Fence
We spent the holiday weekend working on our new fence. We had fences on both sides of us in the back, so we just had to connect the two across the back by the alley. Dan spent Saturday and Sunday digging the holes and cementing in the posts (which is actually tough becuase everything has to be level and plumb in an exactly straight line) and then my dad came to help on Monday. The majority of the fence went up pretty quickly after the posts were up, but we did a little nook and gate in one corner and that took them some time to figure out and build. They did a great job (thanks for your help, Dad), and we now have much more privacy. Before and after pics below (excuse the messy yard), and a couple of Gabe having fun with Daddy's tools.

Your new fence looks so good! You guys did a great job. Are the people who cut through your yard upset about the fence? Or is that why you built the door in the corner? Gabe looks darling helping out too!
The kids who cut through and hang out in our yard a lot were pretty disappointed, especially when they found out the gate would be locked. I have a feeling they'll still come and hang out anyway. I want to see pics of your landscaping!
