2013 Year in Review - July

July

 

I think July will warrant it's own post as well - the summer months are full!

 

There was the 4th, of course.  We walked to the parade in Oak Park, did smoke bombs and poppers of all kinds, ate outside and watched the fireworks with friends.

 

 

 

(Gabe looks excited about this smoke bomb; Caleb, not so much.  Toxic smoke, anyone?) 

 

 

We FINALLY started the process of replacing our ugly, old, deteriorating front steps (with a LOT of help from my dad!).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caleb turned 6 and we celebrated with a Mario party (first with family, then with friends).

 

 

 

We slipped and slid.

We found bugs.

 

4th Annual Backyard Bible Club - always a highlight for us.  Love those kids!

We finally finished the Lego Death Star!

And we went to the cutest, most colorful 8th birthday party for Hen!

 

 

What better way to cap off July than with a trip to Six Flags?!  With Grandma Sandi!
